If you have ever sliced open a fresh locally-grown papaya, juiced a fresh lemon over it and dove in with your spoon, you know the fresh fruit heaven Maui can provide. Maui Sands is lucky to be situated only 150 yards down the road from West Maui's only health food store. They have the standard brands of organic and health food options found in a "Whole Foods" grocery store and they focus on local and organic produce. They host an outdoor Farmers market 3 times a week (mon/wed/fri) from 7am to 11am.
